Welcome

Hi, this is Khanh. I have always thought about sharing my food journey and it is high time I start doing so. Let this be an attempt to bring Saigon, where my soul, my root, and my tastebud have been longing; closer to my habitat. And if you're a foodie, you're in for a treat!​

Warning: there will be spices, maybe a fish head or two but it wouldn't be a journey if there isn't a faint of heart.

About Me.

It all started when I helped out my mom in the kitchen. She taught me how to turn on a gas stove because I was scared of the flame; like all Asian parents, with tough love and impatient haha. After that, I took charge of cooking dinner for my family. Food has influenced me, keep me organized and occupied ever since. My dad was very supportive and sent me to culinary school, which I will always be grateful for. I thought that I will be cooking my way up in the culinary world, that this is it, this is what I am passionate about. I got the opportunity that many could not have, but then here I am, finding my way in another career path. Nevertheless, I find myself falling in love with cooking again in my spare time, exploring fermentation and going back to my root. I guess this burning love affair with food does not have to end?
